CMYK Data

Commercial printing is done with four colors, Cyan, Megenta, Yellow, and Black (CMYK) ink is used in the printing process. Data saved in CMYK colors is the correct format, as printing on paper is done by combining those four colors.

PANTONE Data

We don’t use colors that are created without screens or dots, such as those found print Pantone or Spot for Large Formate printing. That is why our advise is to use CMYK color in the data provided by you.

If the above is overlooked, then Spot/ Pantone colors will be modified to CMYK colors. In such case, expect a color shift in printing

RGB Data

RGB color data (primarily used for Monitors, TV Screens and Phones) is not the correct color for printing on paper.

Ensure that your data is created or converted to CMYK, not RGB. If not, we are going to change to CMYK colors. In such a case, colors might be different.

LAVA Prints will not be held responsible nor reprint orders
due to poorly prepared data. If in doubt please see our Artworking Guidelines

Commercial printing is done with four colors, Cyan, Megenta, Yellow, and Black (CMYK) ink is used in the printing process. Data saved in CMYK colors is the correct format, as printing on paper is done by combining those four colors.

PANTONE Data

We don’t use colors that are created without screens or dots, such as those found print Pantone or Spot for Large Formate printing. That is why our advise is to use CMYK color in the data provided by you.

If the above is overlooked, then Spot/ Pantone colors will be modified to CMYK colors. In such case, expect a color shift in printing

RGB Data

RGB color data (primarily used for Monitors, TV Screens and Phones) is not the correct color for printing on paper.

Ensure that your data is created or converted to CMYK, not RGB. If not, we are going to change to CMYK colors. In such a case, colors might be different.

LAVA Prints will not be held responsible nor reprint orders
due to poorly prepared data. If in doubt please see our Artworking Guidelines
for more information on how to prepare your data. Where colour accuracy is critical,
