Please consider the following while preparing your artwork
CMYK
Colors
In commercial printing, the standard process involves the use of four primary inks: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black, collectively known as CMYK. This color model is essential because it blends these inks to produce the full spectrum of print colors. Therefore, artwork should be formatted in CMYK to ensure accuracy and quality in the final print.
PANTONE
Colors
For large format printing, we do not utilize solid colors like Pantone or Spot colors, which are created without screens or dots. Therefore, we recommend that you submit your artwork in CMYK format. If Pantone or Spot colors are present in your artwork and not addressed, they will be converted to CMYK colors. Please be aware that this conversion might lead to a shift in color during the printing process.
RGB
Colors
RGB colors, which are commonly used for monitors, TV screens, and phones, are unsuitable for printing on paper. Please make sure your artwork is either created in or converted to CMYK format. If it remains in RGB, we will convert it to CMYK, which may result in variations in color.
LAVA Prints cannot be held liable or provide reprints for orders affected by improperly prepared artwork. For guidance on preparing your artwork correctly, please refer to our Artworking Guidelines.In cases where color accuracy is crucial, we highly recommend purchasing a printed sample to ensure satisfaction and prevent any disappointment.
